Cancel an event
How to call it off, and what your guests see.
Open the event you are hosting and use Cancel in the bar at the bottom. The event is marked cancelled rather than deleted, so anyone holding a link sees that it is off rather than a dead page.
Cancelling closes reviews for that event — nobody reviews an event that did not happen.
If you are cancelling for a reason people should know about, edit the event and send a message first, then cancel.
