You cannot find an event
The usual reasons an event does not show up in search.
Work down this list — it is almost always one of these.
It is a private event
Private events never appear in search. The only way in is the invite link from the host. Ask them to send it again.
Your search is too narrow
- •Widen the radius — 25 miles is not much in a rural area.
- •Clear the date filter. A date filter hides everything on every other day.
- •Clear the activity box and browse the category instead.
It is still a draft
An Open or Request to Join event at a private residence stays a draft until the host completes identity verification. Drafts do not appear in search. If it is your event, it is under My Events marked Draft — finish verification and it goes live on its own.
It was cancelled
A cancelled event still opens from a direct link, but shows as cancelled and drops out of search.
None of these? Tell us — include the event name and roughly when it was meant to be.
