Reviews and ratings
How reviewing works, who can review whom, and when it opens.
Reviews are how Splirg stays trustworthy without anyone policing it. They open after the event start time has passed, and only for people who were actually there — the host, and guests with a confirmed spot.
Who reviews whom
- •Guests review the host.
- •Hosts review each guest who attended.
What you rate
Three things, plus one question. For a host: started on time, communication, and how welcoming they were — then, would you attend another of their events? For a guest: arrived on time, positive attitude, and respectful — then, would you invite them to your next event?
You can also add up to three tags and write a comment.
Where it shows up
Ratings roll up into separate host and guest star ratings on your profile, visible to anyone deciding whether to host you or join your event.
Splirg nudges you about reviews you owe on the home page under "Needs Your Review".
Cancelled events cannot be reviewed.
