Gear and skill levels on events
What to bring, what is provided, and whether an event is pitched at your level.
Events list gear in four buckets, each colour-coded on the event page:
- •Required — bring it or you cannot take part.
- •Optional — nice to have, not essential.
- •Provided — the host is bringing it, but you can bring your own.
- •Provided only — the host is bringing it; do not bring your own.
Skill level
A host can set a minimum skill level. It is there so everyone has a good time — a beginners game and a competitive one are different events. Set your own levels on your profile so events pitched at you are easier to spot.
Not sure whether you are a fit? Message the host through the event, or just ask — most hosts would rather answer than have someone turn up mismatched.
