Join an event
Joining, requesting a spot, and what each status on the button means.
Open the event and use the button at the bottom of the screen. What it says depends on the event type and where you stand.
What each state means
- •Join Event — an Open event. One tap and you are in.
- •Request to Join — the host has to approve you. Your request shows as pending until they do.
- •Request pending approval — the host has not decided yet. You can Withdraw Request if your plans change.
- •✓ You are in — you have a confirmed spot. Leave Event gives it up.
- •Request declined — the host turned this one down.
- •Event Full — the host set a guest cap and it has been reached.
- •Invite only — a private event you were not invited to.
- •You have been invited — accept or decline right there.
You need an account
Tapping join when you are signed out sends you to sign in first, then brings you back.
Changed your mind? Leaving is always available, and it frees the spot for someone else. Do it as early as you can — especially on a capped event.
