Invite people to your event
Inviting Splirg members, and inviting people who are not on Splirg yet.
Any event type can have direct invites — private events rely on them entirely.
People already on Splirg
Search for them by name or handle in the host panel on your event page and invite them. They get a notification and the event turns up in their My Events.
People who are not on Splirg
Invite them by email address or phone number, or pull them in from your Google contacts. They get a link that works without an account — they can see the event and accept before signing up.
People you invite often
If you invite the same group regularly, save them as a list and add them all with one tap next time — see Invite the same people again with a list.
Sharing a link
You can also copy the event link and send it however you like.
Following up
If an invite text did not arrive, or someone has not answered, you can resend or nudge everyone at once — see Follow up on your invites.
An invite link is the credential. Anyone holding the link to a private event can accept it — so send it to the person, not to a group chat you do not control.
